BIOPLASTIC STUDIES
Explorations of biodegradable materials, natural pigments, texture and translucency. The research investigates how these materials can be transformed into larger-scale surfaces and spatial elements.
MATERIAL RESEARCH
ICE & PIGMENT STUDIES
Explorations of ice and powdered pigment as transient materials. Frozen pigment is released through melting, allowing water, gravity and time to shape the resulting image.
ABRASION & INK STUDIES
Explorations of ink, surface and abrasion through a process of staining, sanding and drawing. Ink is applied to foam PVC panels with varying degrees of surface preparation, allowing differences in absorption to generate unpredictable fields of colour. The resulting marks are then developed through further abrasion, gradually revealing light, depth and atmospheric structure within the surface.

Explorations of space, structure, scale and atmosphere through spatial thinking, form and visual experimentation.

Explorations of light, shadow and material through architectural models, observing how changing light conditions shape surfaces, interiors and space.

An exploration of mobile vegetation as a spatial device, introducing living elements into existing environments and transforming their atmosphere through movement and presence.

WELCOME TO THE RABAL
An intervention exploring the perception of the city through a speculative urban landmark. The deliberate use of “Rabal” —with a B, derived from “arrabal”, meaning a settlement beyond the limits of a city— points to the neighbourhood’s historical condition and questions its transformation into a space of spectacle and consumption.
